Black Eagle remains in the standings of Primus League Championship despite losing to Kayanza United

Musongati FC from Gitega was severely beaten by Rukinzo on a goalless four-goal score (1-4). Makamba’s team Black Eagle lost to Kayanza United by two one-goal goals (2-1), a defeat that did not prevent them from remaining at the top of the provisional standings of the championship with forty-eight points over twenty games played.

For provisional ranking, Musongati FC comes in second place behind Black Eagle with thirty-nine points, followed by Ngozi City who totals thirty-two points. Note that the last place is occupied by Messager Bujumbura who has only seventeen points.
