Burundi, Intamba mu Rugamba players convened for CAN-U23 tie against Congo Brazzaville

Burundi Intamba Mu Rugamba is set to begin preparations for the African Cup of Nations (CAN-U23) qualifiers against Congo Brazzaville Red Devils in Bujumbura.

There are only 9 days remain for the selection of Intamba Mu Rugamba under 23 to meet the Red Devils of Congo Brazzaville.

The match between Burundi Intamba Mu Rugamba and the Red Devils from Congo Brazzaville will be played at Prince Louis Rwagasore Stadium on March 20 in Bujumbura, in a first leg countdown to the CAN U-23 playoffs.

No time to waste. “The actual training begins this Wednesday. What we are doing right now is scrubbing the players who are here to help them better rest after multiple games played recently in the Primus League and the President’s Cup.” says the coach of the National team of Burundi.

Waiting for players who play abroad, 17 of the official selection are already at the National Technical Center of the Football Federation of Burundi (FFB). Other players like Mussa Nahimana and Mohamed Amissi are expected to arrive this Friday and Sunday, March 15th and 17th as the Coach of the National team admits.
