Club Africain remains banned from recruitment and will not be able to transfer this winter, said FIFA on Thursday.
The Club Africain from Tunisia will not be able to strengthen its ranks during the next mercatos (Hivernal and summer), because of the prohibition of recruitment emitted by FIFA, this Sunday, October 12th, against the club of Bab Jedid.
This decision was taken because of the multiplication of the complaints filed against the Club Africain in particular, the case of the player Malian Malik Touri.
The Club Management Board is about to appeal this decision and is about to pay off its debts.
Bad news for Club Africain. The formation of Bab Jedid will not be able to make transfers during this winter mercato. FIFA denied Thursday the call by the club against the ban on recruitments for two mercatos that has been imposed. Club Africain will have to wait for the verdict of the Court of Arbitration for the sport to be fixed on the transfer market next summer. As a reminder, this sanction is due to several complaints from former players and coaches claiming for the payment of salary arrears.
