Inter-parliamentary games of teams from different countries and members of the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) continued on Monday 03 and Tuesday 04 December 2018 in different disciplines and on different grounds of the capital Bujumbura, Burundi.
On Monday, two volleyball matches were held on the ground of the Burundi ministry in charge of sports. On the women’s side, Uganda beat Tanzania three sets to one, while on the men’s side, Kenya swept Uganda by three sets to zero.
On Tuesday, two netball matches were held at the Ecole Normale Superieure (ENS). The 1st match between Uganda and Kenya ended in Uganda’s victory by fifty-three goals against fourteen for Kenya.
The second match was played between Tanzania and a selection of parliamentarians from EALA.
Tanzania has strongly dominated EALA by a score of eighty-seven points against only eight for EALA.
In Volleyball, Kenya, after having lost its first match against Burundi by being beaten on three sets to two, and after defeating Uganda by three sets to
zero, crushed Tanzania by the same result of three sets to zero, in a match which was played out on the ground of the ministry in charge of sports.
Only one game was played on the field of the National Technical Center of Ngagara where Uganda beat Kenya on a score of one goal to zero.
Note that these matches are played every day until December 10, 2018. They are being held in Burundi, at Bujumbura capital.
