Intambamurugamba 25 players’ squad convened for the Burundi-Gabon match

The Football Federation of Burundi (FFB) has announced the 25 Intambamurugamba players’ squad convened by Coach Olivier Niyungeko, to face Gabon in their return match on March 23 at the Prince Louis Rwgasore Stadium in Bujumbura for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualification.

The 32nd Africa Cup of Nations of Nations which is set to take place in Egypt from June 21 to July 19, 2019, will be the first event organized of 24 participating teams to take place in summer.

The qualification phase is held between March 2017 and March 2019. Initially, the tournament was planned in Cameroon, but the African Football Confederation decided to withdraw the organization on November 30, 2018, due to delays in the work and insecurity in several regions.

In preparations for the qualification game for the 2019 Africa cup of Nations, Intambamurugamba’s coach Mr. Olivier Niyungeko has announced his 25 men’s squad that will host Gabon in Bujumbura.

In the first leg match played in Gabon both sides went equal for only one goal.

Intambamurugamba’s goal was scored by Saido Berahino.

Burundi Intambamurugamba needs only to draw or win the match so that to book their ticket for the CAN2019.
